About Monklands

Monklands consists of Airdrie and Coatbridge and surrounding areas situated between Glasgow and Edinburgh. We were in the past dependent on steel and heavy industry and are now sustained by small industry.

We are a very friendly club of 24 active members and 1 Honoured Active member. We work well as a team and have participated in many charity events, helping both the local community and also the wider world.

Why is our emblem so important?

The Inner Part or "Cogs" of every wheel are vital to ensure the wheel moves forward and towards its goal or target.

We are the Cogs and when we work both individually and as a team we move towards the goals of International Inner Wheel.
